Hey, NYC! I’ll be tabling and doing panels at FanfaireNYC at the High School of Art & Design on April 6 and 7! Come see, come see!
This is a very fun local con run by a New York City public school that I did for the first time last year. The artist alley features both high school students and local pros, and it’s a total blast. Hope to see you there!

Big news, friends! I’m writing a new original comic series called LAWFUL, published by BOOM! Studios and drawn by Diego Galindo with colors by Irma Kniivila, letters by Simon Bowland, cover by Qistina Khalidah, and editing by Shantel LaRoque! Coming this June!
“Imagine a chunk of a big city ripped from Earth in the 1980s, set down on a fantastical planet, and cursed with one simple spell: every time you break a rule, you turn a bit more into a monster. Now jump forward 75 years and let’s see what happens.”
LAWFUL is one of the most personal and fantastical stories I’ve ever written. There’s a lot in there about my specific Asian American experience growing up in the 1980s and that only semi-conscious, desperate feeling that following the rules to the letter will provide safety. And there are monsters.
Check out these amazing designs of our young heroes Sung and Eris from Diego Galindo! So much character in just these sketches!
I love this book and I love these characters and I love love love what artist Diego, Irma, Simon, and all our cover artists doing to breathe life into this world. It feels really special and I hope you’ll preorder LAWFUL #1 with your local comics shop!

The book was written by Greg Pak (hey, that’s me!) with interior art by Giulia Giacomino, letters by Jeff Eckleberry, editing by Nate Cosby, cultural consulting by Moana McAdams, and covers by Nicoletta Baldari, Trish Forstner, Edwin Galmon, Craig Rousseau.
The official blurb:
Having evaded the agents of the evil Cluster Sovereign, Stitch has landed in New York City, where he finds the perfect place to hide: a toy convention! But can he evade the Sovereign’s drones long enough for Lilo to find him? Or will Manhattan become the latest battleground for Experiment 626?
DARTH VADER #44 is in stores today! Written by Greg Pak with interior line art by Adam Gorham and Paul Fry, colors by Federico Blee, letters by Joe Caramagna, cover by Leinil Yu and Romulo Fajardo Jr., and editing by Mark Paniccia, Mikey J. Basso, and Danny Khazem.
Hey, comics friends. Comics colorist Kelly Fitzpatrick needs some help due to ongoing medical issues and has posted a GoFundMe. Please do consider donating if you have the means.
Apparently today, March 8, is the last day to get free COVID tests from the government via the United States Post Office. I’m not sure of the exact time they’ll cut off orders, so please do get on it now before it’s too late! Seriously, now!

Thrilled to report that MECH CADETS #6 hits comic shops today!
The book was written by Greg Pak (hey, that’s me!) with line art by Takeshi Miyazawa, colors by Ian Herring, and letters by Simon Bowland.
This is the last installment of this season of MECH CADETS, which could have been titled MECH CADET PARK, given its emphasis on Olivia Park. I’m really proud of the book and especially like that we’re ending in a VERY different place from where we began. Big themes, big character development, major choices, wild action. Please do ask your local comic shop to hold a copy for you today!
I had a great time last night talking with Uncanny Omar for the Near Mint Condition YouTube channel – and now the whole conversation is available for viewing!
We talked for almost 90 minutes about everything from my earliest experiences with making comics to breaking into the industry and writing WARLOCK and PHOENIX ENDSONG to the development of PLANET HULK to my current work on LILO & STITCH. It was a fun one!
DEADLY HANDS OF KUNG FU: GANG WAR #3 hits comic shops today! Script by Greg Pak (hey, that’s me!), line art by Caio Majado, colors by Jim Campbell, letters by Travis Lanham, cover by David Aja, editing by Darren Shan and Noah Sharma.
